Literary characters took over Stratford School for World Book Day

Stratford Editorial 8th Mar, 2017   0

BOOK characters escaped the shackles of the page to run amok at Stratford School.

World Book Day was marked by pupils and staff alike by dressing up as their favourite literary characters as well as hosting their annual quiz with local primary schools.

Bishopton Primary School triumphed in the quiz closely followed by Wotton Wawen, Stratford School and Alveston.

Youngsters also designed their own chocolate bar with Bridgetown Primary School’s ‘virtual reality chocolate bar’ design was declared the winner.

Stratford School head Neil Wallace said: “Willy Wonka would have loved the way it took chocolate to the next level!”
