A PROGRAMME of interactive activities is planned for young people in Ettington to gain an insight into their experiences and thoughts about living, playing and growing up in the village.
Ettington Parish Council is consulting with young people aged eight to 17 to find out about how they spend their time – with the aim of helping plan for the changing future needs of young people.
Being undertaken by Magenta Occupational Therapy, there are a range of activities designed to engage young people and encourage participation which include craft sessions, movies, baking, and prize draws.
People can also take part through social media such as @EttingtonLife on Twitter, ‘Living my Life’ on Facebook and ‘Livingmylifettington’ on Instagram.
Coun David Hughes, chair of Ettington Parish Council added: “This consultation is a great opportunity to hear the voices of the young people in Ettington and to understand what their social and recreational needs are, so that we can make decisions that meet the needs of our youth.
“We hope many young people will be motivated to participate in this fun and innovative approach”
