M40 fire causing delays around Longbridge Island

A VEHICLE fire on the M40 is causing severe delays.

Traffic is building up on the motorway between Longbridge Island (J15) and Henley (J16) as cars are diverted around the incident on the northbound carriageway.

People are advised to avoid the area.
