Mad inventor's works on show in Stratford museum

HEATH Robinson was known as something of a mad inventor so where better to hold an exhibition of his work than the MAD museum in Stratford.

The exhibition at the Henley Street Mechanical Art and Design (MAD) Museum features a collection of original illustrations, posters and books which show Robinson’s style.

It also includes his humorous drawings of elaborate inventions carrying out simple tasks – which he is best known for.

The exhibition runs until November 22. Tickets to the exhibition cost £6.50 – the standard museum entry fee.
