A MAN charged with attempted rape in Stratford has been remanded in custody.
Paul Lulian Comanescu from Stratford is set to appear at Warwickshire Crown Court on July 12.
The 31-year-old was arrested on Friday (June 8) following the alleged offence which happened at around 1am on the previous Saturday (June 2) near Clopton Road and Arthur Road.
Passersby called the police after they heard the victim – a woman in her 30s – shout for help.
The investigation is ongoing.
