Stratford Editorial 17th Jan, 2017   0

A MAN found guilty of threatening behaviour has been given a restraining order to stay away from Lower Quinton Primary School.

Peter Howell, age 33 of Bastyan Avenue in Lower Quinton has been found guilty of using threatening or abusive behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress on three occasions between July and September.

Magistrates at Leamington Magistrates Court gave Howell a two year restraining order and he was told not to go within 50 metres of the school. He was also issued fines and costs of nearly £500.

PC Craig Purcell said: “I would like to thank those who came forward to assist with this investigation. Working with the community we were able to gain sufficient evidence to secure convictions in this case.

“We will continue to monitor the area and anybody with concerns can call and talk to me directly. If you believe the court order is being breached please call 101 to report or 999 in an emergency.”
