Man stabbed in Stratford

POLICE are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in Stratford.

The 34 year-old man was stabbed in the leg at around 5.30pm on Friday (July 28) on Drayton Avenue.

Two men, one white and one black, were seen leaving the scene.

The man was taken to hospital and his injury is not believed to be life-threatening. He was later arrested on suspicion of affray.

Police are asking anyone with information to call them on 101 or ring 0800 555 111 to speak to Crimestoppers anonymously.
