MASKED burglars broke into an Earlswood home, leaving a man needing treatment for head injuries.

A rock was thrown through the window of a home on Malthouse Lane at around 12am on Friday (August 25).

Seven men then tried to force their way into the house by also smashing open the front door.

One of the men in the house tried to keep the burglars out but was pushed back, leaving him with cuts to his head.

The burglars demanded keys to the car outside but left without them.

The victim was then seen by paramedics who treated his head wounds.
