MASKED burglars hid in the garden of a Great Alne home before threatening the person who lived there with crowbars.

The resident found three men hiding in the garden, and was then forced back into the house after being threatened with crowbars.

The burglars demanded car keys from the house on Nightingale Close and took a Mini and Audi from the drive, making off in the direction of Studley.

The burglary took place at around 10pm on Tuesday (September 19). The three offenders were described as large, white men all wearing masks and had ‘Liverpool’ accents.
