THE SUN was shining down on the farm at the weekend.

Visitors flocked to Moreton Morrell College Annual Show on Saturday (May 16) where they could enjoy everything from dog agility to clay pigeon shooting.

The Warwickshire College agricultural centre showcased students’ hard work and talents, with floristry, forge and farriery demonstrations, show jumping competitions and the ever-popular parade of livestock.

College staff were also on hand to provide information about the range of full and part-time courses on offer at the college.

Marcus Roberts, Moreton Morrell College Director, said: “It has been another very successful Moreton Morrell College Annual Show – we were delighted to see so many visitors of all ages come through the gates.

“The show is a fantastic opportunity for our students and staff to showcase their skills and it also gives the local community a chance to see all the great things that go on at the college. The demonstrations and have-a-go opportunities were also popular for those thinking about taking a course.”
