National Lottery Funding handed out over over £800,000 in Stratford

PROJECTS and community groups in Stratford were awarded over £800,000 in National Lottery Funding in 2016.

Some 30 lottery grants were given out across the district providing a boost to arts, sports and heritage projects together with community groups.

Bears Wheelchair Basketball Club were awarded cash to provide wheelchair basketball sessions for disabled women, St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Henley received a donation to install a multi-use games area in the school field and social activities for youngsters provided by The Graham Adams Centre in Southam were also awarded a grant.
