A NEW General Manager has been appointed at the Grosvenor Hotel in Stratford with a pledge to provide for the locals as well as tourists to the town.
Nick Cowperthwaite joined the team at the end of last month and is already making his mark. according to his colleagues.
Before joining the hotel, Mr Cowperthwaite – who had worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years – was deputy general manager at the Best Western Tillington Hall Hotel for eight years.
He told the Observer: “I am very excited to be part of such a significant independent hotel on the Stratford hospitality scene, and I look forward to working with the region’s key tourism contacts. Alongside the team, I am excited to be a part of creating a ‘local’s hotel’ with an excellent food and beverage offering for those in the town looking for a place to dine, enjoy afternoon tea or a drink in the bar.
