IT’S lights, camera, action for a fund-raising night of Hollywood glamour in Stratford.

Heart of England Mencap will host the ‘Hollywood Ball’ on Friday November 20 to support local people living with learning disabilities.

The black-tie event will take place at The Stratford Hotel in Arden Street starting at 7pm. Guests will enjoy a three-course meal and charity auction, with live music.

Mencap fund-raising manager Cath Errington said it was the first time in two years the charity had organised such a big event.

“We want people to get dressed up and enjoy a really glamorous and fun evening, raising money for our charity at the same time.

“Use it as the perfect excuse for a different night-out with friends. We support people living with learning disabilities across the local area – and all funds raised will make a real difference to peoples’ lives.”

Tickets cost £50 per person, or £500 for a table of ten. The price includes all food and entertainment plus a drink on arrival.

Tickets are available now from Heart of England Mencap’s head office – at Clifford Mill in Clifford Chambers, just outside Stratford, by visiting www.heartofenglandmencap.org.uk or calling 01789 298709.

The charity supports individuals with learning disabilities, working across Warwickshire and Worcestershire.

Services range from day activities to residential care, with supported living, short breaks, respite and outreach also a key part of the charity’s work.
