A DOSE of nostalgia aims to drive funds for charity.
A drive-in-movie has been organised by the Stratford and Birmingham Breakfast Rotary Club, to raise money for a number of causes including the club’s homeless shelter bus project.
The 1986 hit musical Dirty Dancing will be shown at the event on September 1 at Stratford race course.
Fans of the smash-hit film are encouraged to park up along with friends and family to enjoy a sing-along.
Other causes benefiting from the event include Stratford Scouts, Springfield Mind and Warwickshire and Solihull Blood Bikes.
Last year the event raised over £12,000 for the Rotary Shelter Bus and other Stratford charities.
The bus will provide short term accommodation to homeless and rough sleepers in the West Midlands.
Tickets cost £12 for those without a car and from £30 for entry with a car. Refreshments will be available.
