ORCHESTRA of the Swan is Warwickshire’s latest arts organisation to announce its share of the government’s culture recovery lifeline.
The Stratford-based orchestra chamber has received £130,000 of the £1.57billion recovery fund.
A spokesman said: “It’s a real lifeline for not just for us at OOTS and the freelance players, but also for our audience too. We can’t tell you how much it means to us to have received this generous grant.”
The orchestra finally made its lockdown debut on October 6, as part of Stratford Music Festival.
Other venues to receive funding include art gallery Compton Verney and Warwick district venues including Leamington Art Gallery and Musuem and the Royal Spa Centre.
