OVER £30,000 has been raised for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance by kind-hearted supporters.
Street collections across the two counties saw supporters hand out yellow pin badges in exchange for donations during the second Air Ambulance Week.
As a result of a popular response, donations exceeded the amount raised last year by £5,000.
OXFAM shops in Warwickshire have raised over £500,000 for the charity’s work around the world during the past year.
Lisa Milner, Oxfam area manager for Warwickshire, said: “We are so grateful to the generous people of Warwickshire who donate to and buy from our shops.
“This support raises absolutely crucial funds for Oxfam’s work helping people in desperate circumstances. It is thanks to our determined staff and volunteers, and our very generous donors and customers that Oxfam can provide life saving water, food and emergency supplies to thousands around the world.”
