Police appeal for witnesses following assault

WARWICKSHIRE Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in Stratford.

The man, who is in his 30s, was walking along the junction of Birmingham Road and Justins Avenue around 4.30am on Sunday (December 18) when he was assaulted by an unknown person outside the post office.

Personal property was stolen from him and he was taken to hospital to be treated for facial injuries.

Anyone with information about the incident should call Warwickshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 088 555 111.
