Police appeal for witnesses following hit and run

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a hit and run in Stratford.

A man is being treated in hospital after he was hit by a car on Evesham Road, near the Shell garage on May 6 at around 9.30pm.

The 47-year-old sustained injuries to his arm, leg and pelvis.

The vehicle, reported to be a black car, failed to stop and is thought to have fled in the direction of the town.

Any witnesses or anyone who may have seen a black car in the area with damage to the front, should call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
