Police appeal after man assaulted at motocross event

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted at a motocross event near Stratford.

One man was headbutted by another at around 1.45pm on Saturday (July 16) at Bordon Hill.

He was left with a broken nose and chipped tooth and had to go to hospital for treatment.

The offender left the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the event or has any information is asked to call police on 101 or ring 0800 555111 to speak to crimestoppers anonymously.
