POLICE are appealing for information after a teenager was stabbed in Stratford.

Emergency services were called to Alcester Road just after 2pm on Wednesday (August 31) and arrived to find a teenage boy with a stab wound to his leg.

He was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-changing.

The road was closed for some time and police were also seen around Hathaway Green Lane.

Officers would like to speak to people who were traveling in a light blue Vauxhall Corsa that was in the area at the time of the incident as well as a cyclist who is thought to have been riding near to the roundabout by Morrisons.

Anyone with information should call Warwickshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
