Police suspect arsonists responsible for Henley-in-Arden blaze

A FIRE at a house in Henley-in-Arden may have been started deliberately, police believe.

Sometime between 2:40am and 2:50am early yesterday morning (Sunday June 4), arsonists are believed to have set fire to the unoccupied property in Arden Road.

No-one was injured in the incident but the building was heavily damaged.

Officers, who are are keeping an open mind as to the cause of the fire, are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw people acting suspiciously.

Anyone with information is asked to call Warwickshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 43 of June 4.
