Three arrested from Stratford after drugs raid

SUSPECTED heroin and a knife have been seized from a property in Stratford.

Police raided the address in Longfellow Road after patrolling officers spotted a suspected drug deal.

They searched a man and after finding what they believed to be heroin, swooped on the property.

Three people from Stratford have been arrested including a 38-year-old woman, a 37-year-old man and a 34-year-old man all on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.




All three have been released under investigation.

Officers are still trying to find two men who fled from the property.


Sgt Dave McManus said: “The quick actions of the officers who were out on patrol in Stratford led to the seizure of a significant quantity of what we believe to be heroin.

“We’re still trying to locate two men who fled from the property and we’d keen to hear from anyone who can help us locate them.”
