Residents in Brailes vote in favour of neighbourhood plan

Ian Hughes 22nd Nov, 2019

RESIDENTS in Brailes are the latest in the district to adopt a neighbourhood plan.

In total 312 residents turned out, with 277 voting in favour of the plan which sets out a vision for the future of the area and planning policies which will be used to determine planning applications locally.

Neighbourhood plans are a key component of the Localism Act, which aims to devolve greater powers to councils and communities.
