BAR and restaurant chain Revolution has been given the go ahead to open in Stratford.
The venue which serves as a restaurant, cocktail bar and party venue will be based in the Bards Walk arcade with access via Wood Street, Henley Street and Meer Street.
It will open 8am to 1.30am Thursday to Saturday, and 10am to midnight Sunday to Wednesday.
It is part of a redevelopment plan to transform the arcade which has struggled to attract shoppers and long-term tenants.
The decision comes shortly after a gin bar was given the green light for Shrieves Walk.
But concerns have been raised over potential anti-social behaviour.
One town centre resident said: “It will damage the face of our historic town. The application is for a night club as it is not bar hours.
“A late license was granted some years ago to Chicago Rock Cafe with disastrous results. Anti-social behaviour, crime, vandalism all increased until it was closed.”
