RUBBISH Friends are preparing for The Great British Spring Clean – and are urging would-be Wombles to join them.
The environmentally-friendly Stratford community group are organising activities across all three days of the national event from March 2 to 4.
On the Friday and Saturday they hope to get as many businesses and schools involved, and on Sunday a litter pick is planned on land behind the leisure centre.
Schools and business keen to play their part should call Becky on 07853 995580, while the Sunday pick starts at 10am, with all equipment provided.
