RUBBISH Friends in Stratford have been ensuring the town looks spick and span.
Thee group dedicated to cleaning up areas in need were out in force recently to get a brook flowing again.
Some 30 volunteers rolled up their sleeves to work clearing a large area around Trevelyan Crescent, including a long stretch of the brook.
In just under two hours they collected eight sacks of recyclable rubbish, three sacks of compostable waste, eight black sacks, 15 shopping trolleys, two tractor tyres and much more.
