SANTA Clauses took over Stratford for charity.
The Shakespeare Hospice’s Santa Fun Run saw 250 Santas take on a five kilometre route around the town.
Children and dogs also took on the challenge dressed as elves, reindeer and Christmas puddings to help raise funds for the hospice.
Run organiser Vikki Calcutt said: “I am thrilled at the amount of support we have had so close to Christmas and the enthusiasm of all the Santas. It was amazing to see a sea of red and white running off into the distance.
“A huge thank you to the RSC, Stratford District Council, Tempo Events and Fighting For Fitness for all their help, and to Vale Press who sponsored the Santa Run.”
Vikki also thanked the volunteers who marshaled around the route and helped with registration.
