Shakespeare Pups Appeal set to benefit from new charitable fund

Stratford Editorial 7th Dec, 2016   0

THE SHAKESPEARE Pups Appeal is just one of the charities which will benefit from a new charitable foundation.

Stratford-based law firm Lodders has launched their own foundation to help support charities in the region.

The Shakespeare’s Pups Appeal supports the national Guide Dogs for the Blind charity which sees each puppy named after one of the Bard’s characters.

The Farming Community Network (FCN) which works with people in the farming and agricultural communities across the country, and the Time Out Group which provides support for young people with complex disabilities and challenging behaviour, will also be beneficiaries of the foundation.

Lodders’ spokesman Mark Lewis said: “The foundation aims to support regional charities where a real difference can be made, something which reflects Lodders’ ongoing commitment to the community.

“We are delighted to be backing these three charities through a year-long calendar of fundraising events across the firm.”
