Shakespeare Ride returns to raise funds for hospice

Stratford Editorial 7th Feb, 2019   0

CYCLISTS are urged to jump in the saddle in support of The Shakespeare Hospice.

The Great Shakespeare Ride takes place on Sunday July 28 at the Walton Hall Hotel.

Riders can choose from three distance options including 50km, 100km or 100m, with the ‘epic hill climb challenge’ and ‘four rider team challenge’ also making a come back to this year’s fund-raiser.

The event is enjoyed both by seasoned club racers and novice riders, with food stations, mechanical support and a post-race massage available.

Last year the two winning teams were from Shipston Cycling Club and The Cycle Studio.

The event raised over £23,000 which helped support families affected by life-limiting illness across South Warwickshire and the North Cotswolds.

Tickets are from £30 and an ‘early bird’ offer allows a £5 discount for bookings made in February.
