SHAKESPEARE’S Church will be joining World’s Biggest Coffee Morning next week.
The hospitality team at Holy Trinity Church will be serving coffee, tea and cakes on Friday September 27 in support of Macmillan cancer charity.
Helen Warrillow, leader of the church’s Welcome Tea, said: “In recent months so many in our congregation have been deeply affected in some way by cancer.
“We have lost several prominent and active members of our church family. Happily, others have successfully undergone treatment and have experienced at first hand, or heard praise for, the work that Macmillan nurses do.
All donations made by visitors to Shakespeare’s grave on the day will also go to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Everyone is welcome to the coffee morning which will be serving from 10am until noon.
