Staff at Stratford attraction met with 'aggressive behaviour' after visitors refuse to wear masks

VISITORS refusing to follow covid-safe rules will not be tolerated say staff at a Stratford attraction.

The team at Stratford Butterfly Farm recently experienced ‘aggressive behaviour’ from visitors who were asked to wear face coverings.

Managing director Richard Lamb warned abusive or aggressive visitors would not be welcome.

He said: “If you are asked by a member of our staff to wear your face covering or to wear your face covering properly covering both your nose and your mouth and you are abusive or aggressive to any member of our team, then you are not welcome at the butterfly farm. You will be asked to leave immediately. Abusive and aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.”

The farm re-opened in early July, following its temporary lockdown closure, with covid safe measures including a one-way system, hand sanitiser and mandatory face coverings for those not exempt.
