FUND-RAISING youngsters teamed-up to run a marathon for Sport Relief.
Pupils from Wootton Wawen Primary School took on the 42 kilometre distance in 300 metre relays.
Some 140 pupils aged four to 11-year took part to raise over £600 for the charity which encourages people to get active and help others.
Headteacher Marion Jones said: “We chose to run a marathon as we have a very active running club before school on a Friday we also have a commitment to ensuring our children are physically active.
“All the children were really excited about the marathon and with the help of parents cheered each other on around the course. It took us 3 hours to complete.”
