Stratford College students lend a hand at foodbank

Stratford Editorial 22nd Feb, 2017   0

STRATFORD Foodbank is now spic and span thanks to the efforts of half a dozen students.

Stratford College tutor Scott Powles and students- Bilal Haq, Callum Singleton, Jake James, Oscar Church, Julian Udroiu and Brandon Hamilton – rolled up their sleeves to lend the charity a helping hand with the cleaning.

Warehouse coordinator Marina Dunn said: “It was a hugely  successful  event and now we are now a very smart looking and clean building, it was an absolute pleasure to work with this hard working and engaging  group of students and look forward to further association with the college.”

Stratford Foodbank provides a vital lifeline to individuals and families struggling to feed themselves.
