A MUSICAL Theatre lecturer at Stratford College has released a Christmas song of hope at the end of a tough year.
Alex Dengate decided to bring comfort to others in the form of a heart-warming ‘Hold On’ song called along with wife Louise – a singer and vocal coach.
Alex, who has worked in the performing arts department for 13 years, explained: “We were inspired to write the song as we felt we wanted to contribute to the world at this challenging time. Utilising our skills as musicians and singers, we wrote, recorded and released ‘Hold On’ in just one week!
“As we bring the year to a close, ‘Hold On’ is a reminder of how resilient staff and students have been and how they have continued to excel in light of a challenging year.”
‘Hold On’ is available now on iTunes and all major streaming platforms including Amazon Music, Spotify, Deezer, YouTube, Facebook and TikTok.
