Stratford pupil fundraises for rhinos

Stratford Editorial 1st Apr, 2017   0

A WILDLIFE-loving youngster has been helping endangered rhinos in South Africa.

Imogen Biggs, a pupil at Leamington’s Kingsley School, took a trip to the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre after raising £120 to help endangered and orphaned rhinos.

The Stratford youngster raised the money from two cake sales and also present a video to fellow pupils on the plight of the rhino.

Imogen visited family in South Africa and presented the funds to staff at the rhino centre in person.

Deputy Headteacher Jo Bailey said: “We are incredibly proud of Imogen. She has worked selflessly to achieve a noble goal, inspiring the whole school community and developing a link we hope to continue working with in the future.”
