A ROCK band from Stratford are offering an aspiring female singer the chance to join them on their new single.

Five-piece Chasing Deer are preparing the release in time for Christmas and are opening the floor for a girl lead vocalist to be part of the recording and performance process.

The unique opportunity will be a seasonal role as part of the band, with initial rehearsal time and recording in a professional studio.

The recruited vocalist on the single will duet with the band’s regular lead singer Rob Hodkinson, as well as performing the song live at an O2 Academy launch show in Birmingham in December.

Applicants will receive further information and a rough demo of the song on entry via the official website. Applicants will need to be aged 18 plus, and have performance experience. Video or audio recordings are required – even if only from a mobile phone.

Chasing Deer’s music has recently gained interest from BBC Introducing, where they were ‘Band of the Month’ in August. There latest single Rewriting History is available via iTunes.

Visit www.chasingdeer-official.com for further details. Applications need to be in by Wednesday (October 28).
