STRATFORD Sea Cadets were saluted at a ceremony following a year of achievements.
Cadets ages ten to 18 received a variety of awards during the evening which was supported by the NFU Mutual Community Giving Fund and Simon Allen Associates.
Among those awarded were ‘Best Female Cadet’ Molly Edmunds, ‘Best Male Cadet’ Lewis Wasley, ‘Best Dressed Cadet’ Charlotte Drinkwater, and ‘Best Rower’ Kara Cooke.
Lt Roger Edmunds said: “Our cadets have done so well this year, gaining many qualifications between them and taking part in competitions.
“The unit was recognised nationally by Sea Cadets UK at our biannual inspection so it seemed that this was the right time to re-introduce an awards ceremony to acknowledge what individual cadets have accomplished.”
