CHRISTMAS in Stratford will have a distinctively Dickensian feel this year.
The town will host a three day Victorian-themed market festival from December 8 to 10 at which festive shoppers can enjoy mulled wine and mince pies while browsing gifts for friends and family.
Warwick has hosted a very successful Victorian Christmas evening for many years, with traditional rides and games accompanying charity, crafts and food stalls.
The news comes as Stratford District Council announced LSD Promotions will be taking over the town’s market contract.
The company manages regular markets in Oxford, Worcester and Stourbridge, and will stepping into Stratford from October 1.
