A TAXI driver was reportedly attacked after he approached passengers who walked off without paying.
Police say two men took a taxi from Leamington to Kinwarton Road in Alcester at around 2am on bank holiday Monday (May 29).
The pair said they needed to go to the cash point but instead walked off without paying.
The taxi driver stopped them but he was kneed in the stomach and punched in the back of the head by the two men – who are described as white, 20s and wearing shirts and jeans.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and speak to police.
