DANCERS came together for an afternoon of rhythm and brews to raise funds for the Stratford Cancer & Eye Hospital appeal.
Over 180 dancers from across Warwickshire took part in the tea dance at Stratford ArtsHouse, raising a total of £1,800.
Moon and Stars, which included event organiser Maggie Stewart, provided the music to some old favorites such as the foxtrot, waltz and ballroom dances.
Afternoon tea served up by the Stratford Hospital League of Friends provided much-needed sustenance and a raffle raised £500.
Maggie said: “There was a fantastic atmosphere at the dance and it was clear that guests enjoyed the afternoon. Our band love playing at these events and particularly where we are helping raise money for a cause close to local people’s hearts”.
