Three charged with murder over death of Stratford man in town centre

THREE people have been charged with murder following an assault in Stratford  in which a town centre man died.

Five people were arrested following the incident, which took place in Arden Street around 4.15pm on Monday (June 22).

Peter Mallon, 41, of no fixed abode, Neil Potter, 36, of Clopton Road and Tony Jelf, 39, of no fixed abode will appear at Leamington Magistrates Court on Friday morning (June 26) having been charged with murder.

Florence Caines, 26, from Kineton Road, Wellesbourne, has been charged with theft and Donna Windsor, 37, of no fixed abode, has been charged with attempted theft.




They are also set to appear before magistrates on Friday.

On Thursday (June 25) police named the dead man as Tristram Wallace.


The 36-year-old lived in Arden Street.

Police confirmed a post mortem conducted on Tuesday (June 23), requires further analysis before the cause of death can be confirmed.

Further tests will be conducted and police inquiries will continue.
