A RECORD number of Oxford and Cambridge offers have been made to KES students.

In total 12 students have been offered places at the two universities.

The University of Cambridge has offered places to Ben Dennes (physics), Georgie Jones (psychology), John Lusty (mathematics), Zachary Price (biochemistry), and Jack Robinson (economics).

And the University of Oxford has offered places to Sam Brookes (classics), Hamish De Nett (theology), Guy Hughes (physics), Dan Wilkinson (philosophy, politics and ethics), Andrew Markham (chemistry), Lily Watson (medicine) and Kate Matthews (medicine)

Head, Bennet Carr said: “The Oxbridge selection process is hugely challenging, both academically and personally, and I am thrilled that these students have had their hard work and dedication rewarded with an offer.

“I am sure that they would wish to join me in thanking the academic staff who have supported them so well in preparing their applications.”
