Trial date for murder of Stratford man Tristram Wallace set for April

THE TRIAL of four people accused of murdering a Stratford man in the town centre will take place next April.

Tristram Wallace died at the scene after being involved in an incident near the junction of Arden Street and Birmingham Road during the late afternoon on June 22.

Toney Jelf, 39, of Childs Close, Stratford; Peter Mallon, 41, of Rumer Close, Long Marston; and Neil Potter, 36, of Oakdene Court, Clopton Road, Stratford, deny the 36-year-old’s murder.

Donna Windsor, 37, of Betjeman Close, Stratford, was originally charged with attempted theft but subsequently charged with murder.




She has also pleaded not guilty.

Florence Caines, 26, of Kineton Road, Wellesbourne, pleaded guilty to a charge of theft in connection with the same incident at an earlier hearing.


She will be sentenced at the conclusion of the trial, which is set to begin on April 6.
