Two men admit involvement in Stratford shooting

TWO men have admitted their involvement in a Stratford shooting.

A 17-year-old man was shot in the leg after an argument at a home on Brookside Road on December 4 last year.

Abdi Ali, age 19 of St Peter’s Road in Leicester was arrested two days later in Bristol. He pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm and possession of a shotgun with intent to endanger life.

An 18-year-old man from Birmingham was arrested on December 13. He also pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm and possession of a shotgun with intent to endanger life.

The pair will be sentenced at Warwick Crown Court on Monday July 2.
