VILLAGERS have voted to accept the Wootton Wawen Neighbourhood Plan.
Nine out ten voters (482) backed the plan in the referendum and the turnout was just under 50 per cent.
Stratford District Council will use the plan to help decide future planning applications in the area.
Neighbourhood plans are a key component of the Government’s Localism Act, which aims to devolve greater powers to councils and neighbourhoods, covering everything from green spaces and sustainable transport, to housing and leisure facilities.
