Volunteers urged to join the team at Coughton Court

VOLUNTEERS are being sought by the team at Coughton Court near Alcester.

A variety of roles are available at the National Trust-cared for country house including room guides, catering and retail assistant, event volunteers and visitor reception assistants.

Those interested can meet the team at Coughton on Sunday February 16 between 11am and 3pm and have a chat with current volunteers and staff.

Visitors can enjoy a slice of cake and a tour of the grade I-listed Tudor property.

Volunteer manager Nick Taylor said: “Volunteering is the perfect opportunity to get involved with local heritage whilst doing something that’s hugely beneficial, rewarding and different.

“Coughton is a unique property with a fascinating 600 year history and the team are looking to recruit new volunteers who want to learn new skills, meet new people, make friends and most importantly want to play a vital role in sharing the love of this beautiful property with others.”
