A WARWICKSHIRE law firm has made the top ten best business names in Britain.
Wright Hassall in Leamington was voted sixth in the nationwide hunt, which saw Spruce Springclean, a carpet shop in Cornwall, take the top spot.
Other contenders included Portsmouth-based locksmith Surelock Homes and London wine bar Planet of the Grapes.
Florists Floral and Hardy, from Barnet, came fourth in the poll, and a chippie from Wales called A Fish Called Rhondda rounded out the top five.
Responding to a survey by Vistaprint, many Brits say a witty or memorable business name was likely to make them use that company over a similar one.
A Vistaprint spokesman said: “Small businesses around the UK are always finding clever and innovative ways to showcase their offerings.
“Having a creative business name is one example of how you can be more memorable to your customers and stand out from the crowd.”
Ironically, Wright Hassall was never intended as a gimmick, and is actually the name of original partners Edward Wright and James Wright Hassall, who founded the firm in 1875.
