YOUNGSTERS in Stratford have been tracing their family trees.
Pupils at Bishopton Primary School produced an exhibition of their work on family trees for their relatives to see with help from the Warwickshire Reminiscence Action Project (WRAP) – linked with the dementia café WRAP which meets in the community centre next to the school.
The children were taught about dementia and read a story written by Warwickshire author Lee Sterry whose book ‘The Buttercup Game explains how children and carers can care for someone living with dementia in a positive way.
WRAP are hoping the youngsters and their parents will become dementia friends and support the café which runs on Fridays from 2pm to 4pm.
