ARTY schoolchildren competed to design a ‘welcome to your new home’ card for buyers of new houses in Shipston.
The winning design by Shipston Primary School pupil Evie Oram will be used to greet owners moving into new Cala Homes development Foxgloves.
Evie also received a £50 Waterstones gift voucher, while the two runners up, Ella Kirkman and Phoebe Leonard, each received a £30 gift card for their entries.
Cala Homes spokesperson Gill Sabin said: “At Cala Homes, we are committed to creating a positive legacy in the communities in which we build, and supporting local schools such as Shipston Primary School is just one way we try to achieve this.
“We thoroughly enjoyed working with the school for this project and we were incredibly impressed with the all the designs.
“We were spoilt for choice when choosing a winner but Evie’s design was bright, colourful and instantly put a smile on our faces so we knew it would be a huge hit with residents at Foxgloves.”
