A HOLIDAY destination with a difference is inviting the community to celebrate a milestone birthday.
The Youth Hostel Association (YHA) in Stratford is throwing a free garden party on Saturday September 2 at its grounds at Hemmingford House, on the Tiddington Road, to mark its 70th birthday.
While the event is free to attend, proceeds will go towards the hostel’s ‘Breaks for Kids’ charity fund. The campaign helps young people from disadvantaged backgrounds escape day to day life and be inspired by new surroundings.
The party, running from 2pm to 6pm, will feature live music, a barbecue, garden games, face painting and a Hoorays ice cream stall.
